Capoterra
Capoterra lies south-west of Cagliari, between inland hills and the Gulf of Angels. Farmland and residential neighbourhoods occupy the plain between the town and the sea. On the coast, La Maddalena Spiaggia is also known as Lido di Capoterra, a sandy shore facing the gulf near the Santa Gilla wetlands. Hills and woodland rise behind the settlement, offering a variety of landscapes within a short distance of the city.
